   Wow!

   Congrats!

   You have come a long way since I first encountered your Baldilocks blog, all those years ago.

   After years of creative writing, mostly poetry, and song parody, and lots of it, plus “Cat” Blogging, all on my several blogs, I finally feel comfortable coming right out, and saying, I AM Writer!

   Even if the only thing of mine ever to see print was a autobiographical story in a Best of Trek book from 1990 that I never got paid for, and the audiences of my blogs have been puny. ;-D

   I am proud that my poems/songs have been praised by some really cool people, including Alan Merrill, who discovered my parody of his “I Love Rock & Roll”, a while back (My Cat will be posting a feline parody of the song this weekend on HIS Blog!).

   Will all those creative works ever make me money by being published?

   I honestly don’t know.

   Living day to day, and not understanding much about the publishing world, i’ve never given it much thought until my Cat Blogging took off this year, so who knows. ;-D

   Lots of folks make money just blogging, but if making money had been my intent I would have quit blogging by 2005. ;-D

   I love to write, call myself a writer, and am very proud to do so.
